Contemporary Kitchen in Cults

Timeless Craft Meets Modern Function in Cults
This bespoke kitchen project in Cults was designed to maximise space and daily usability while showcasing the client’s love of craftsmanship. From the seamless built-in appliances to the contrasting materials and concealed storage, the result is a warm, high-functioning interior that feels calm, light, and completely personal.
Traditional Materials, Carefully Reimagined
Cabinetry throughout the space features solid oak fronts and bespoke dovetail drawers, including select drawers with glazed fronts for display. Pale lacquered wall units provide tonal contrast, and a breakfast unit with pocketing doors ensures clutter-free convenience. Central to the layout is a Corian-topped island with a shaped oak table, anchored to a curved back panel that softens the space while adding a furniture-like finish.
Seamless Appliances & Structural Improvements
The kitchen is equipped with Siemens appliances, including an oven, combi oven, warming drawer, integrated fridge, freezer, and dishwasher — all discreetly built into the cabinetry. A Quooker tap was installed for instant boiling water. To enhance usability, the utility room door was repositioned to optimise floorspace, and the ceiling was re-plastered to allow for a full upgrade to LED lighting.
